Putting in this laminate reducer molding is an easy process whether as a home owner or installer. You can create a flat, secure transition regardless of it being residential or commercial in a few easy steps.
Tools needed: Pencil | saw | adhesive | cloth | rubber mallet (optional)
Instructions (one of the options below is a partial redo option):
1. MEASURE & PLAN: Measures the length of the area. Mark it with the pencil.
2. CUT: Cut the skirting down or use a saw to cut to the mark.
3. PREPARE: Clean the two floor surfaces.
4. ADHESIVE: Put a thin even line down adhesive to the bottom of the molding, being sure to press down into place at the transition joint.
5. SECURE AND DRY: Hold molding in place for a moment, to ensure contact.
